Origin
Space Reason began in Tokyo after years of sitting beside controllership teams during closes that depended on reconciliation applications nobody had fully mapped. Matching rules drifted, exception queues grew quiet owners, and evidence packs arrived incomplete when auditors asked for them. We formed a practice that treats the application itself — not only the process narrative — as the object of review.
What we bring
Our practitioners combine close-process experience with hands-on familiarity of common reconciliation management applications used by mid-market and listed companies in Japan. We read configuration the way a careful reviewer reads a ledger: slowly, with samples, and with named owners attached to each observation.
